Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 September 2026 | Website: cashcub.in | Contact: info@cashcub.in
1. Who We Are
CashCub ("CashCub", "we", "our" or "us") operates the CashCub mobile application and the cashcub.in website (together, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, shared and protected when you use the Platform or contact us.
The original CashCub policy describes itself as an interim policy while the business is getting up and running. This expanded version is intended to provide clearer information to users while the Platform moves through its initial phase.
2. Information We Collect
CashCub's current policy states that we do not collect personal data unless you voluntarily contact us, for example by email or through the app or website. We may also collect anonymous app-usage statistics, clicks on external links for affiliate tracking, and basic demographic data.
Depending on how the Platform is implemented and the features you use, information may therefore include:
Information you voluntarily provide when contacting CashCub or using a feature that requests information.
Anonymous or aggregated usage statistics about how the Platform is used.
Clicks, referral parameters and similar information associated with external links and cashback tracking.
Basic demographic information where collected and permitted.
Information needed to investigate, validate or resolve cashback and support queries, where applicable.
3. Information You Voluntarily Provide
If you contact CashCub or otherwise voluntarily provide information, we may receive the information contained in your communication, such as your name, email address, contact details, transaction or offer information, and the contents of your query. We will use such information for the purpose for which it was provided and for related support, verification, security or legal purposes where permitted by applicable law.
4. Usage and Tracking Information
CashCub may collect or receive information about how users interact with the Platform. The current policy specifically identifies anonymous usage statistics and clicks on external links used for affiliate/cashback tracking.
When you click through from CashCub to an external merchant or service provider, tracking information may be shared with or received from affiliate, merchant or technology partners so that an eligible referral or transaction can be attributed and cashback activity can be tracked and validated. Tracking does not necessarily mean that CashCub receives all information held by the merchant.
5. How We Use Information
We may use information for purposes including:
operating, maintaining and improving the Platform;
understanding anonymous usage and improving performance;
tracking cashback referrals and eligible activity;
responding to questions, support requests or complaints;
investigating suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation or misuse of offers;
maintaining security and preventing unauthorized activity;
complying with applicable legal or regulatory obligations; and
establishing, exercising or defending legal claims where necessary.
CashCub's original policy specifically states that information may be used to improve app performance and to track cashback referral activity.
6. Affiliate, Merchant and Third-Party Services
CashCub works with or may link to external merchants, e-commerce platforms, affiliate networks, analytics providers and other third-party services. The original policy gives examples such as Flipkart and Amazon.
When you leave CashCub and visit a third-party website or service, that third party may collect and process information under its own terms and privacy policy. CashCub does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites and cannot guarantee their policies or security practices.
7. Sharing of Information
CashCub does not sell collected data to third parties as a commercial data-brokerage practice. The current policy nevertheless notes that information may be provided to cashback affiliates when required for cashback tracking or referral purposes.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to service providers, technology partners, professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement authorities or other parties when permitted or required by applicable law, or where necessary to protect CashCub, users, merchants or the Platform from fraud, security incidents or misuse.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Platform or its third-party partners may use cookies, device identifiers, pixels, SDKs, referral parameters or similar technologies where required to operate the service, understand usage or attribute cashback referrals.
Where a particular technology collects personal data or requires user choice under applicable law, CashCub will provide the applicable notice, consent or control mechanism. Users should also review the privacy and cookie policies of third-party websites they visit through CashCub.
9. Cashback and Transaction Data
Cashback activity may require referral or transaction information to be exchanged between CashCub and relevant affiliate or merchant partners. Such information may be necessary to determine whether an activity qualifies, calculate or validate a reward, investigate missing cashback, or reverse rewards associated with cancelled, returned or otherwise ineligible transactions.
CashCub is not responsible for the privacy practices of the underlying merchant and users should review the merchant's own privacy policy before completing a transaction.
10. Data Retention
CashCub will retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including support, cashback reconciliation, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution and compliance with legal obligations, subject to applicable law.
The original policy does not currently specify fixed retention periods. Those periods should be finalized internally and reflected here once CashCub's operational data flows are confirmed.
11. Data Security
CashCub will take reasonable and appropriate measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should also protect their account credentials, device and authentication information and should immediately contact CashCub if they believe their account or information has been compromised.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and the date on which relevant legal provisions become effective, users may have rights relating to their personal data, including rights to access information about processing, request correction or updating, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request deletion where legally available, and raise a grievance.
CashCub will provide the applicable mechanism for exercising such rights as required by law. Requests may initially be directed to info@cashcub.in.
13. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Framework
CashCub operates in India and intends to handle personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection requirements. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 establish India's framework for processing digital personal data. The Government has prescribed a phased commencement timeline, so particular obligations apply from different dates.
This policy should therefore be reviewed and updated as the applicable provisions come into force and as CashCub's actual data practices develop.
14. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended to be used in a manner that violates applicable age-related or child-data requirements. CashCub should establish and publish its minimum user age and any parental-consent requirements before launch, based on the services offered and applicable law.
If CashCub becomes aware that personal data has been collected contrary to applicable child-data requirements, it will take appropriate steps as required by law.
15. Fraud, Abuse and Platform Integrity
CashCub may use relevant information to detect and investigate activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, automated, manipulative or otherwise inconsistent with offer terms. This may include repeated or artificial transactions, misuse of referral programmes, attempts to obtain rewards without completing qualifying activities, or conduct intended to interfere with tracking or Platform operations.
Where appropriate and lawful, CashCub may suspend or restrict rewards, accounts or access and may share relevant information with merchants, affiliate partners, payment/service providers or authorities.
16. Third-Party Links
CashCub may provide links to external websites and services. These links are provided to enable the relevant user journey and may support cashback attribution. Clicking a third-party link may take you outside CashCub's Platform.
Each third party is responsible for its own content, services, transactions, privacy practices, security and terms. CashCub's inclusion of a link does not mean that CashCub endorses every policy or practice of that third party.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
CashCub may update this Privacy Policy when the Platform, its data practices, its partners or applicable legal requirements change. The current CashCub policy expressly reserves the right to update its policies.
Where a change is material and applicable law requires notice or consent, CashCub will provide the appropriate notice or obtain the required consent. The "Last updated" or "Effective date" at the beginning of this policy should be updated whenever a new version is published.
18. Grievances and Contact
Questions, privacy requests or complaints may be sent to info@cashcub.in. CashCub should publish the name/designation and contact details of its designated privacy/grievance contact once finalized.
For requests concerning a particular transaction or cashback claim, users should provide enough information for CashCub to identify the relevant activity without unnecessarily sending sensitive information.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy should be read together with CashCub's Terms of Use, Cashback/Rewards Terms and other applicable policies. The governing law and jurisdiction clause should be finalized after confirmation of CashCub's legal entity, registered office and applicable business structure. This section is intentionally not populated with a jurisdiction that has not been confirmed in the supplied source material.
20. Relationship With Other Policies
This Privacy Policy explains privacy and data handling. It does not replace Cashback/Rewards Terms, merchant terms, offer-specific terms or other legal notices. Where a user participates in a particular offer, the terms displayed for that offer may impose additional conditions.
